Morristown Municipal Airport was featured in this month's Metal Construction News, The 38,934 square foot project was erected within it's footprint because there were only 15 feet available around three sides of the hangar's perimeter. Hance Construction Receives Butler Builder Million Dollar Award

Hance Construction has received the Million Dollar Builder and High Performance Builder honors from Butler Manufacturing at the February, 2017 Butler Manufacturing Conference in Atlanta, Georgia. Butler provides design-build construction solutions and innovative building technology to the nonresidential market. These designations are awarded to Butler Builder dealers who meet or exceed annual territory sales goals and demonstrate superior marketing skills in selling Butler building systems.

As an authorized representative for Butler Manufacturing, Hance Construction is often called on to provide design-build services, particularly when delivering pre-engineered buildings.
 

Hance Construction Wins Third Place in ATAS Project of the Year

Hance Construction and Larson and Paul Architects won third place in the Residential Roof Category of the Aluminum Trim and Shapes (ATAS) Project of the Year Awards for their work on the Steel House in North Haven, New York.

The ATAS Project of the Year Program is similar to the Metal Construction Association's Merit Awards Program recognizing those professionals that further the advancement of metal in construction. However, this program is limited to the use of ATAS products. A panel of three judges, independent of ATAS International, Inc., will determine the winners. Any projects, large or small, featuring ATAS metal panels are encouraged to participate. Project(s) selected by the judges will be published in national trade publications and recognized as ATAS Project of the Year during the ATAS Customer Appreciation Day in May.
 

Steel House Wins HC&G Innovation in Design Award

The Steel House, designed and built by Larson and Paul Architects and Hance Construction won an Innovation in Design Award for architecture from Hamptons Cottages & Gardens (HC&G) magazine.

The panel of judges included architecture critic Paul Goldberger, interior designer Jennifer Post, landscape architect Mario Nievera, and home accessories designers Kim Seybert and Madeline Weinrib. Details of the awards can be found on the HC&G website.

2015 Building of the Year & Two Awards

Hance Construction earned the 2015 Building of the Year award at the 46th annual MBCEA Conference in San Diego, CA for their work on the Steel House in North Haven, NY. The Steel House also received the Award of Excellence in the Specialty category. Hance Construction was also honored with an Award of Merit in the Warehouse category for its work on Hall's Warehouse in South Plainfield, NJ.
