We're pleased to announce Art Hance's induction into the 2022 Metal Construction Hall of Fame! Presented at the 53rd Annual Metal Building Contractors & Erectors Association (MBCEA) Conference held at Loews Ventana Canyon Resort in Tucson, Arizona, this honor recognizes Art's career-long advocacy for quality and excellence among metal building contractors and erectors in the industry.

The Metal Construction Hall of Fame was founded in 2012 to recognize leaders in the metal construction industry who have shown a history of innovation and effort. This year's class of six inductees represents both the breadth of the industry and devotion to modernization and excellence. Art and his fellow honorees have significantly impacted the metal building construction world and beyond, and we are thrilled to acknowledge their success.

Hall of Fame Award

During Art's illustrious career, he has served as president, vice president, and board member of the MBCEA and championed expanding members' access to AC478 training and accreditation. This accreditation is the most comprehensive quality assurance accreditation for metal building assembly. Hance Construction's early adoption of this policy has directly impacted it becoming an industry standard today, and Art continued his advocacy for it by presenting "Prove Your Quality and Safety with AC478" at this year’s conference.

Now in his third decade in the industry, Art’s induction into the Metal Construction Hall of Fame will encourage him to continue being a passionate voice for quality, excellence, and integrity among metal building contractors and erectors in this country.
