Laborer
The Laborer provides support to the Project Manager/Site Superintendent/Foreman both in the office and in the field.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Comply with all Hance Construction, Inc. safety requirements and work safely.
- General labor and clean up services at job site under the supervision of the project superintendent and/or field foreman.
- Operate power tools in a safe manner: hand held drills and impact tools, circular saw, sawzall, power tamper, grinders and cut off saws.
- Drive company vehicles as directed for pick up and delivery of project materials.
- Assist with steel erection, concrete, masonry and carpentry duties: carrying and staging materials, some light assembly of carpentry, masonry and metal building components, receive, unload and inventory materials.
- Keep track of items needed for general maintenance; i.e., tools, construction equipment, etc.
- Maintain company vehicles, i.e. gas, cleanliness inside and out, tire pressure, wipers.
- Drive safely and courteously.
- Fulfill AC-478 Training Requirements.
- OSHA 10 Hour Safety Course (or HCI to provide paid course).
- Maintain a professional appearance and project professional image to clients in all activities.
- Other duties as assigned by the Site Superintendent and/or Project Manager.
- Pass post-offer drug and alcohol screening and background check.
- Have own vehicle and tools.
